Abstract
Purpose: Obesity is prevalent in the congenital heart disease (CHD) population. Serial follow up of left ventricular size and function in patients with CHD includes echo as first line imaging modality. Echo imaging is adversely affected by obesity and by tissue scarring after cardiovascular surgery.
