Abstract

Cardiac surgery is surgical procedure, so, as every surgery, there are risks, including in the postoperative period. Obesity can be a raising factor for complications during the surgery process, in the postoperative period and treatment, as it is frequently associated with various metabolic disorders and complicates access to the heart, being, therefore, a very important analysis for clinical practice.
