Abstract

(Abstracted from Int J Gynecol Obstet 2021;155(suppl 1):123–134) The World Health Organization classifies obesity as a noncommunicable pandemic, with approximately 650 million people affected globally in 2016 and 4.7 million people dying prematurely in 2017 because of obesity-related diseases. Among these obesity-related diseases are breast, uterine, cervical, and ovarian cancers in women.
