Abstract

Women with obesity are at increased risk for cesarean and labor complications. In vitro studies suggest that oxytocin receptor expression and function may be affected by maternal body mass index (BMI). We aimed to identify whether a high-dose oxytocin (HDO) regimen reduces the risk of cesarean or other labor complications in women with obesity.
