Abstract

Abstract A solid-state amperometric O2 gas sensor was successfully fabricated by using supported 1-n-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (BMIPF6) porous polyethylene membrane as a solid-state electrolyte. The present O2 gas sensor, which is capable of being operated at room temperature, shows a wide detection range and a high stability.
