Abstract

Both temporary spinal cord stimulation (tSCS) and temporary spinal nerve root stimulation (tSNRS) could treat for zoster related neuralgia (ZRN). However, the literature is still sparse when it comes to comparisons between tSCS and tSNRS as treatments for ZRN. The purpose of this study is to perform a retrospective comparison between tSCS and tSNRS for the treatment of ZRN with regard to therapeutic effect, procedure time, radiation doses, numbers of electrode lead used and the frequency of modulation in therapeutic period.
