Abstract
A previously developed educational e-health tool (https://scstool.org/) considers both clinical and psychosocial factors when selecting patients with chronic pain for spinal cord stimulation (SCS).1 After selecting a patient profile, the tool produces a composite recommendation on SCS (strongly recommended, recommended, not recommended). The validity of the e-health tool was recently evaluated in a retrospective study, demonstrating a strong relationship between the composite tool recommendations and patient outcomes after SCS.
