Abstract

The black-wattle is very important specie in Brazilian forest sector. This study aimed to carry out estimates for dry weight above ground of 140 individuals with 10 years old. Another 30 were used for validation of the best adjustments. Data collection was performed at three different locations in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Encruzilhada, Cristal and Piratini. The variables of diameter at breast high, total height and aboveground green weight were taken.
