O Regime sancionatório da responsabilidade ambiental

Abstract

This text corresponds to the final chapter of the PhD thesis «Environmental liability in the European Union. From civil liability to administrative liability in Portugal ». It analyzes the sanctioning regime, of an administrative offense nature, of environmental administrative responsibility, as stated in Decree-Law No. 147/2008, of 29 July. A brief reference is also made to the possibility of criminalization of the same behaviors that are liable to administrative responsibility for damages caused to the environment.
