Abstract
O presente texto procura considerar as contribuições de Paulo Freire para pensar o ensino de filosofia no Brasil. Após uma breve reflexão sobre o título do periódico que acolhe o dossiê, ele situa a posição em que foi colocado Paulo Freire no presente contexto político brasileiro bem como algumas críticas académica à Pedagogia do Oprimido. A seguir oferece possíveis contribuições de Paulo Freire para pensar o ensino de filosofia em três tópicos: a) o papel do professor (ou professora); b) a relação com a vida; c) a posição da infância e algumas considerações finais.
