Abstract

This article presents the problem of the unity of reason in the Kantian system and the solution given by Kant, in the Critique of the power of judgment, through beauty as a symbol of morality. Later on, the objective is to find out if Kant is able to solve the problem of the impassable gap between the domains of nature and freedom, showing, then, through the text “The oldest systematic program of german idealism” as the Kantian answer prepares the ground for late 18th century German philosophy.
