Abstract
O ensaio fotográfico buscou contemplar a paradoxal característica dos rostos indígenas zapatistas cobertos pelos pasamontañas. O que permitem desvelar e para quais possibilidades apontam os olhares insurgentes? Como em um espelho - em que podemos enxergá-los e, concomitantemente, enxergar-nos - o que vemos? Que outros mundos podemos imaginar pelos olhos de rostos cobertos de dignidade, que há mais de duas décadas, entre o fogo e a palavra, constroem processos de autonomia política e social?
