Abstract

This paper reviews the fundamental role of the sports nutritionist in athlete support, exploring how nutrition can influence athletic performance and post-exercise recovery. The literature review highlights the importance of specialized nutritional support to maximize physical performance, prevent injuries, and promote efficient recovery. Studies show that an adequate and personalized diet, rich in essential macronutrients, can significantly improve athletic performance. The objective of this study is to synthesize the evidence on the effectiveness of nutritional interventions and propose practical guidelines for the optimized use of nutrition in sports.
