Abstract
New technologies of music production, distribution and consumption have triggered intense reconfiguration in the phonographic industry. By analyzing the recent polemic release of the album In Rainbows by British independent band Radiohead, this article intends to contribute to the debate on the complex issues of piracy and property rights in the digital scene.
