Abstract

Over the history of Christianity, different interpretations of hell had been formulated. Among the attributions that hell has received, few things remains in the imaginary nowadays. The hell was thought and rethought. Within the interpreters of hell, Georges Minois and Paul Tillich are references for this work. This paper investigates the existentialist aspect in The History of Hell , of Georges Minois, and the reflection on the demonic, of Paul Tillich. At the end, it proposes some considerations and analysis about hell through an existential perspective.
