Abstract

One should not judge a book by its cover, but in the case of the Brazilian edition of Feminism for the 99%, the layout and illustrations make reading even more pleasurable, thus enriching the reader's experience. The Brazilian edition also presents us with the preface written by the federal deputy, professor and political activist Taliria Petrone. Preface that begins with an epigraph of Carolina de Jesus' Eviction Room, a black woman from the slums, a mother of three and one of the greatest writers in our country.
