Abstract
Este trabalho tem como objetivo verificar qual é o espaço destinado aos Gêneros Orais nas aulas de Língua Portuguesa no Ensino Fundamental e de que forma são trabalhados. Com intuito de atingir esse objetivo, a pesquisa foi desenvolvida com três professoras de Língua Portuguesa das séries finais - 6º ao 9º ano - do Ensino Fundamental. Destaca-se que o trabalho fundamenta-se nos pressupostos teóricos e metodológicos do Interacionismo sociodiscursivo, sobretudo em Machado e Bronckart (2009). A partir da análise dos dados, averiguou-se que os Gêneros Orais não são tratados como objeto efetivo de ensino nas aulas de Língua Portuguesa.
