Abstract
A religiosidade brasileira é plural, apresenta-se sincrética e multifacetada. Apesar disto, a convivência entre organizações e pessoas de diferentes crenças ainda é marcada pelo preconceito, principalmente contra religiões com matrizes africanas. Uma das possibilidades de enfrentamento deste quadro é a implementação de diálogos inter-religiosos. Neste artigo trazemos uma justificativa inicial para o diálogo inter-religioso sob o ponto de vista umbandista.
