Abstract

Are epistemic rights human rights? If there are epistemic rights, and this is on of the central claims of this writing, knowing is not only promoting the friction between convictions or opinions on the one hand and the truth and justification on the other.;If there aren´t, it is as if the epistemic was closed in on itself and no other right could cross it. On the other hand, if there are epistemic rights, another image of knowledge must support them. Sketching this other image is another central concern of this writing. This article intends to introduce these discussions on epistemic justice articulating with the notion of epistemic human rights.
