Abstract
The impact of leiomyomas on fertility is controversial. Clinically, submucosal leiomyomas and intramural leiomyomas with endometrial cavity distortion are associated with decreased pregnancy rates; reproductive outcomes improve after myomectomy. The effect of uterine leiomyomas on the endometrium was evaluated using known molecular markers of endometrial receptivity: HOXA10, HOXA11, LIF, and BTEB.
