Abstract

The study of pollen morphology of 9 representatives of the subgenus Iris (Iris L., Iridaceae) of the Armenian flora was carried out. Pollen grains of all the studied species are anasulcate, large; the exine ornamentation in most species is reticulate. For the species I. pumila L., a densely finely verrucate exine ornamentation with clavate outgrowths was revealed.
