Abstract

As of this fall, all state prisons and local jails in New York state will be required to provide all three medications for opioid use disorder (OUD) to any inmate who wants it, under a new law passed by the legislature and signed by Gov. Kathy Hochul (see New York bill would require MAT for all jails and prisons, ADAW Nov. 19, 2018; https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/adaw.32178).
