Nurturing Inclusivity and Social Cohesion: Empowering Educated Youth for Leadership in India's Diverse Landscape

Abstract

The authors became aware of the imperative to foster unity, reduce discrimination, and diminish exclusion within college campuses when they conducted a series of programs under the Equal Opportunity platform. Collaborating with youth from diverse backgrounds provided them with the opportunity to identify and acknowledge young individuals with exceptional talents and a strong commitment to creating environments characterized by peace, inclusivity, and intellectual stimulation. As a result of their intellectual curiosity, the authors decided to conduct a focused study on a micro-level examination of their own alma mater. They aim to share their experiences and data with the intention of learning from the discussion and to take this initiative further.
