Abstract

Kidney Research UK is in the process of setting up a unique kidney biobank, collecting biological samples from 14 sites in England, Scotland and Wales. In this article, Angela Lumsdon provides an overview of how the biobank will operate, from sample collection to processing, and explains how the associated data collected can help improve kidney care provision in the future.
