Abstract

To report the nursing care of a case of patient with reversible splential lesion syndrome (RESLES) who has transient ischemic attack as the initial symptom. The examination revealed that the patient was secondary to viral encephalitis. The nursing points included the observation of the condition of RESLES, the safety nursing of transient ischemic attack and the nursing of viral encephalitis. Through active treatment and effective nursing, the patient′s symptoms were relieved obviously and the patient was discharged.
