Abstract

Objective To explore the influence of nursing intervention on the prognosis of the patients with parotitis complicated with pancreatitis. Methods Slected 36 cases with parotitis complicated with pancreatitis from June 2008 to June 2010, and randomly divided them into control group and observation group. Both groups were treated with inhibit trypsin activity and pancreatic secretion drugs,antiviral therapy and fasting, supplement electrolyte and so on. control group was given routine nursing,while observation group received comprehensive nursing intervention. Observed the effect and prognosis of both groups. Results Abdominal pain response time and hospitalization time of observation group were shorter than control group's it had significant difference(P<0.05). The complication rate of observation group was 11.1%, while control group counted for 38.9%;there was significant difference between them (P<0.05). Conclusion Comprehensive nursing intervention can reduce abdominal pain of the patients with parotitis complicated with pancreatitis, improve effective rate of treatment, shorten hospitalization time, prevent the happening of complications.
