Methods Ninty PTBs were randomly divided into group A ( 45 cases) which were received regular nursing plus social support and coping style intervention and system health education, while 45 subjects in group B which were received regular nursing only. The efficacy of intervention was evaluated by social support rating scale (SSRS) and the simple coping style questionnaire (SCSQ) answered by PTB patients before and four weeks after receiving intervention. 90 healthy donors were included as control group. The compliance with regular treatment of the group A and B was compared and analyzed before and one month after intervention. Results PTB patients had lower scores of SSRS and active coping style compared to the healthy donors before intervention. There were no difference in scores of SSRS and SCSQ and the compliance with regular treatment in both group-A and B ( P > 0. 05 ) ,whereas those after four weeks of intervention indicated statistic significance (P<0.01 ) .
