Abstract

Objective To discuss the positive influence of nursing intervention on the treatment of stress urinary incontinence and to provide scientific treatment plans and theoretical basis for clinical nursing care of patients with stress urinary incontinence by summarizing experience from practice. Methods 60 cases of stress urinary incontinence female patients were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group, 30 cases in each group. The control group were treated with therapeutic apparatus for neural function reconstruction treatment and routine nursing. The experimental group were treated with nursing intervention measures, including pelvic floor muscle training and bladder function training, in addition to the treatments mentioned in the control group. Treatments lasted for 8 weeks, and the international urinary incontinence questionnaire was used in the comparison between the two groups on clinical efficacy and changes of life quality of patients. Results (1)After 8 weeks treatment, urinary incontinence severity of patients in the experimental group was obviously relieved compared to the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). (2)After 8 weeks treatment, questionnaire score for urinary incontinence severity of patients in the experimental group was 5.1±2.6, and score for patients in the control group was 9.2±2.6. Treatment effect in experimental group was apparently enhanced compared to the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). Conclusion For patients with stress urinary incontinence, implementation of nursing intervention in neural function reconstruction process can effectively improve urinary incontinence symptoms and patients’ quality of life.
