Abstract

This paper analyses how informatics are used in knowledge management in Jordan and includes conceptual frameworks for knowledge initiatives and an illustration of how data are transformed to knowledge through the processing of information; nursing informatics are mapped. Finally, applications of informatics in USA and Jordan are explored comparatively with focus on nursing roles in informatics and the key relevance to ethical challenges once these applications happen.
