Abstract
Objective To conclude the nursing experience for 71 elderly patients with esophageal or cardiac carcinoma during perioperative period.Methods Retrospective analysis was conducted to analyze clinical nursing data of 71 elderly patients with esophageal or cardiac carcinoma.The key points of preoperative nursing were taking care of patients' mood,completing relevant preoperative examination and making sure the condition of the patients in accordance with the operation.The key points of postoperative nursing were closely observing patient vital signs,timely finding the early signs of complications and taking corresponding treatment.Results There were 15 complication cases in the 71 patints(21.13%).Other patients were safety through perioperative period except 2 patients dead(2.82%)because of cardiorespiratory failure.Conclusion Noticing the different key points of preoperative and postoperation nursing and taking scientific and effective nursing measures were the guarantee for patients through perioperative period safely.
