Abstract

Giardina shows that many transmitted readings in Virgil's Georgics generally deemed to be sound in fact are corrupt and need to be emended. Giardina strives to offer conjectural readings that can be defended both on the semantic and the palaeo graphical level. All Giardina's conjectures are supported through relevant verbal parallels.
