Abstract

Noel M. Hall of Ozark, Missouri, widely-known poultry expert and Head of the Poultry Experiment Station at Mountain Grove, died on August 25th, aged 68, after a lingering illness.He was born in Cass County, and received a B.S. degree at the University of Missouri. While working as Head Geneticist for the Edwards Hatchery in Springfield in 1950–1952, he developed a new meat type chicken which won a first prize for the Company in a “Chicken-of-Tommow” contest.Earlier, Mr. Hall was on the staff of the Poultry Department of the University of Missouri. He was a Director of the Missouri Poultry Improvement Association. .
