Abstract

In this study, a calculation model was constructed assuming the space from the fire room (basement floor) of the building to the ground floor through an inclined space. The effect of the inclination angle on the flow coefficient in the opening between the fire room and inclined space was investigated. The results showed that the flow coefficient at the opening was maximum around the angles of 20° – 30° and then decreased. In addition, it was confirmed that Equation (8) expressed the relationship between the flow coefficient and inclination angle.
