Abstract
PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to study the wave propagation in thermoelastic diffusive medium.Design/methodology/approachThe present paper deals with the numerical study of wave propagation in coupled thermoelastic diffusive medium by using DQ method together with fourth‐order Runge‐Kutta method.FindingsThe paper finds solutions of displacements, temperature change and concentration.Research limitations/implicationsThe paper can be sued to solve non‐linear partial differential equations.Originality/valueThe solutions of displacements, temperature change and concentration are illustrated graphically. Numerical examples show that the method yields very good results.
