Abstract
A noncompact version of SU(2) lattice gauge model in three dimensions is investigated numerically. We find that quarks are confined in the strong coupling region and deconfined in the weak coupling region. This deconfinement is caused by finite size effect. The results support Feynman's idea of confinement in QCD 3.
