Abstract
Modified Gregory formulae of order 3 and 4 associated with composite modified trapezium and Simpson quadrature rules are used to correct in an iterative way the solution of Volterra integral equations obtained by the classical polynomial interpolation approach. Several numerical experiments are performed and discussed.
