Abstract
AbstractIn this paper we describe an algorithm for the computation of eigenvalue curves and corresponding eigenvectors of multiparameter eigenvalue problems. After input of an algebraic simple eigenvalue with eigenvector we use continuation methods to compute the eigenvalue curve starting from the given eigenvalue. We indicate algebraic bifurcation equations for the computation of branching algebraic simple eigenvalue curves. For numerical examples we treated several ordinary differential equations in mechanics with finite differences.
