Abstract
Abstract Numerical techniques which have been previously used in the solution of creep problems are reviewed. The different techniques are used to obtain solutions for the creep deformation and rupture of a steadily loaded three-bar structure. The results of numerical calculations are presented, and the most appropriate techniques are identified for the solution of creep problems in engineering structures.
