Abstract

The degenerate scale problem for two unequal circles in thermal conduction is studied in this paper. In addition, this paper provides a numerical solution for the addressed problem. Coordinate transform technique is suggested in the derivation. By using this technique, the problem formulated in the degenerate scale can be converted into similar one formulated in the normal scale. The integral operator formulated in the normal scale is invertible. By using this property, the degenerate scale can be evaluated for the case of two unequal circles. Many computed results for the addressed degenerate scale problem are provided.
