Abstract

The 2A12 is a kind of high strength aluminum alloy which is used often in many fields, in this paper, the finite element method (FEM) was used for spinning process simulation of cylinder shell part, different process parameters were designed according to spinning wheel working angle, spinning feed rate. The backward spinning scheme was adopted, through analysis of the spinning manufacturing results, the changing trend of spinning stress was obtained, the influence of different spinning wheel working angle, spinning feed rate on stress, strain and wall thickness was discussed.
