Abstract

The mathematical model of gangue brick tunnel kiln was established to simulate the heat transfer between brick, air and boiler to study the waste heat recovery. The temperature distribution in the coal cangue tunnel kiln was studied. Simulation results show that the place of the waste heat boiler has certain impact on gangue brick quality and waste heat utilization. It not only can increase the heat transfer efficiency, but also achieve the full utilization of waste heat restored in flue gas and brick by making air and brick move in opposite direction.
