Abstract

In this article, numerical simulation of the stress-strain state of a pipeline under the action of a flowing liquid pressure is considered. In many branches of modern industry, pipes are used to transport liquid and gases. Because of this, the problem of calculating the stress-strain state of pipes in terms of strength characteristics is of great interest. As a mathematical model, the equations of linear elasticity and hydrodynamics are used. For numerical realization finite element approximation by space and the finite difference method for time discretization are used. The presented results of the numerical solution of the problem are in a three-dimensional formulation.
