Abstract

The coupling effect of UWB to landmine is analyzed by FDTD numerical method. Based on the shell structure and setting pose of landmine, the difference equation is deduced on absorbing boundary condition of CPML in Cylindrical coordinates. The dimension reduction of the TF/SF connecting boundary condition is reduced to introduce the incident wave. In order to improve calculating efficiency, the parallel FDTD method is adopted. The calculating model is founded and numerical simulation of slot coupling effect on landmine shielding shell is processed. The coupling electromagnetic field of shells made with different shielding material and with slots of different sizes is plotted. The slot coupling regulation of UWB to shell is analyzed. It has some effect on landmine against electromagnetic weapon damage and provides reference to modern landmine and landmine sweeping system design.
