Abstract
Induction heating of a carburizing container using induction heating was studied. The dependency of heating up to the temperature of 1660 °C was determined depending on the current values I from 0.5 to 2 kA on the inductor at the frequency of 112.5±2.5 kHz. Experimental results were compared to the data of numerical simulation of heat transfer in the carburizing container.
