Abstract

In order to understand and master the diffusion mechanism and spatial concentration distribution of hydrogen leakage in the engine room, this paper studies the diffusion behavior and concentration distribution of hydrogen under the coupling effect of multiple factors, and further explores the optimal installation location of the sensors. The results indicate that when the ventilation rate increases by 1, 2, and 3 times, the diffusion volume of hydrogen decreases by about 0.4, 0.5, and 0.6 times. The harm of the increase in leakage diameter is greater than the leakage pressure. And the temperature has a greater impact on the hydrogen volume fraction in areas below 4 % and a smaller impact on areas above 4 %. In this environment, the sensors should be installed at or above 5.5 m in the rear of the engine room and above the axis of the hydrogen transport pipeline interface, valves and other places prone to leakage.
