Abstract

The nonlinear effect of MHD waves on the generation of rf-driven current is studied numerically. A quasi-linear operator models the electron Landau damping of any plasma eigenmodes. For the description of weak collisional plasma processes, 2D nonlinear kinetic Fokker–Planck equation is used. The constructed difference schemes allow us to carry out numerical calculations in a large time interval without error accumulation.
