Abstract

ABSTRACT The use of foam as a mobility control agent has received increasing attention over the past few years. While many laboratory studies have been done to understand foam rheology in porous media, relatively few efforts have been made towards the mathematical simulation of foam flow. The mathematical formulation presented here provides a simple way of representing foam behavior in porous media which is easily applied to large scale simulators while still providing a realistic simulation of foam behavior.
