Abstract

The article develops a model for the study of electromagnetic processes in a power transformer, taking into account the nonlinearities of magnetic bonds and the saturation of the magnetic circuit. The model is based on the differential equations of electric and magnetic equilibrium of a single-phase two-winding transformer. An algorithm for solving the system of differential equations of electric and magnetic equilibrium of a transformer, performed by numerical simulation methods in the Matlab Simulink program, is presented. To test the model, the results of numerical simulation of electromagnetic processes in the transformer in the idle mode are presented. The created model allows for a comprehensive analysis of electromagnetic processes in transient and steady-state modes, taking into account the nonlinearities of magnetic bonds and the non-sinusoidality of the supply voltages of the power network.
