Abstract

Carrier rockets and certain spaces are usually driven by the tail engine. Some spaces can increase the flap at the end of the aircraft as the control plane. When the main jet engine opens, the jet flow disturbs the body flap seriously. The engine exhausts are usually mixed gas, but it is difficult to numerically simulate multi-component gas directly. Generally, the similarity criterion is adopted to convert hot jet gas medium into cold jet air medium for calculation. In this paper, the numerical simulation of close interference between the main engine jet and the flap is carried out for a simplified aircraft model, and the flow field of jet interference under different incoming Mach numbers is analyzed. The result shows that a similar parameter mass flow ratio can improve the accuracy of numerical simulation.
