Abstract

Numerical simulation of graphene based schottky junction solar cells is performed to identify possible future applications of graphene. Copper indium gallium diselenide, Cadmium tel-luride and amorphous silicon are chosen as the semiconductor bases because of their high absorption coefficient. MATLAB simulink platform has been used to demonstrate the behavior of solar panel's efficiency by using graphene with four semiconductor bases. The power conversion efficiency has been increase from 34.9% to 44.4% of an optimized solar cell with the help of Silvaco Atlas tool. The Silvaco tool is used to form the structure and J-V curve is obtained. In broad, two techniques that are taken into account to find out the J-V Curve.
